O que é
A PALMATUR é uma pousada de turismo comunitário urbano e é um empreendimento de nossa rede de Economia Solidária do Conjunto Palmeira. Constitui-se inicialmente com 20 mulheres do bairro que forman capacitadas pelo projeto Incubadora Feminina de Instituto Palmas para prestar serviços na área do turismo e do varejo.
Objetivos da PALMATUR
A PALMATUR é fruto da décima turma do Projeto Incubadora Feminina que vem sendo desenvolvido desde 2001 pelo Insituto Palmas. Essa décima edição conta com o apoio do Insituto Walmart. A Incubadora Feminina é direcionada a mulheres moradoras do Conjunto Palmeira e adjacências. A estratégia consiste em reintegrá-las no mercado de trabalho ou apoiá-las para a criação de empreendimentos autogestionários, de forma a grantir-lhes renda e cidadania. A Incubadora Feminina já realizou a capacitação de 165 mulheres ao longo dos últimos nove anos, promovendo a inserção de 60% delas no mercado de trabalho. Em cada turma é definido um foco para a formação profissionalizante. Para esse decima turma, todo o processo formativo foi direcionado para as áreas de turismo e varejo. Foram 12 meses de capacitação com um total de 940 horas/atividade. De todo esse processo surgiu a PALMATUR.

- Promover o Conjunto Palmeira como um destino turístico em Fortaleza, fortalecendo o desenvolvimento econômico local através da hospedagem solidária na pousada comunitaria administrada pelas alunas de projeto Incubadora Feminina, tendo por base os princípios da sustentabilidade e da solidariedade.
- Garantir trabalho e renda para as mulheres do bairro encaminhado-as para o mercado formal de trabalho

PALMATUR is an inn which promotes urban community tourism and is an enterprise of Conjunto Palmeira’s economic solidarity network. It It was initially created by 20 women of the neighborhood who were trained by Instituto Palmas's program Incubadora Feminina to provide services in tourism and retail.
Objectives of PALMATUR
A Little Bit of our History
PALMATUR is the fruit of the 10th gradating class of the Incubadora Feminina project that has been being developed since 2001 by the Palmas Institute. This year's programming has happened with the support of the Walmart Institute. Incubadora Feminina is directed at women living in the community of Conjunto Palmeira and nearby areas. Its strategy consists of reintegrating them into the labor market or helping them to create self-managed enterprises, in an effort to guarantee them income and citizenship. Incubadora Feminina has already graduated 165 women in the last nine years and secured the insertion of 60% of them into the formal labor market. Every year the class has a different focus for professional formation. For this 10th class, the formative process was focused in the areas of tourism and retail. The women underwent training for 12 months with a total of 940 hours/activity. From this whole process emerged PALMATUR.

- Guarantee work and income for the women of the neighborhood, drawing them into the formal work market.
